Gulliver's Rest has been part of our family life since 1968. We have kept the warmth of a real home while preparing it carefully for guests: calm interiors, generous living space, a properly equipped kitchen and a mature south-facing garden made for slow mornings and easy evenings.

The garden is one of the quiet pleasures of the house: south-facing, green and full of established planting, with a patio by the pond near the house and a sunny outdoor dining area at the far end of the lawn.

The large living and dining room opens to the garden and is arranged for real use: meals around the table, films on the 55-inch TV, a flame-effect feature fire, and enough space for everyone to settle in.
The house
The new kitchen is set up for guests who actually cook: oven, microwave, dishwasher, espresso machine, bean grinder, air fryer and the smaller utensils that make self-catering easier.

Bournemouth beaches, Poole Harbour, the New Forest, the Isle of Purbeck and Studland, and the Jurassic Coast are all within easy reach by car, with many routes around 20 minutes in normal conditions.
